Lenten Lights E2
This coming Sunday (3.16.2014) a full moon will rise. The gospel text for Sunday is the story of Nicodemus coming to Jesus under cover of night. Surely Jesus must have gestured to the night sky when he said to Nicodemus, “You must be born from above.” As you look to the night sky this week, ponder for yourself what it means to be born from above, to be flesh and to be spirit, to be born anew. Birth takes many forms. Ask yourself, what in my life is dying and what in my life is coming to birth?
